Taking payment through AppFlow means the money lands in your account and the admin takes care of itself. This guide covers connecting payments, choosing when clients pay and setting deposits.

Connecting payments and taking your first deposit

1. Connect payments

  1. 1

    Open Payments in Settings

Choose Connect payments and follow the prompts to verify your business. This keeps everyone secure.

  2. 2

    Add your bank details

Tell us where to send your money. Payouts arrive on a regular schedule you can see in your dashboard.

2. Choose when clients pay

You decide what suits the way you work. AppFlow supports each of these, and you can mix them by service.

  • Pay in full at booking
  • Pay a deposit now, the rest on the day
  • Pay in person after the appointment
  • Saved cards for trusted regulars

3. Set deposits and no-show protection

  1. 1

Choose which services need a deposit

Higher value or longer appointments are good candidates. A small amount turns a maybe into a commitment.

  2. 2

    Set your cancellation window

Decide how much notice you need and whether a late cancellation keeps the deposit. Clients see this before they book.

Keep it fair

Clear, reasonable rules shown up front cut no-shows without making clients feel caught out.

4. Refunds and receipts

Refund a payment in a couple of taps from the booking. Receipts go out automatically, and every payment is recorded ready for your accountant.
